Landmark launches new Envirosearch Prime for high value residential properties

Landmark Information Group has launched its latest environmental report for high value residential properties or homes with extensive land.  Based on detailed data and expert interpretation, 'Envirosearch Prime' is the UK's most comprehensive residential environmental report.

The report fulfils the requirements of Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 by ensuring that environmental risks are identified for properties with between 0.5 and 37 acres (15 hectares) of land in addition to those worth in excess of £500,000.

The new report contains unique features including a polygon search, expert interpretation and additional residential risk assessment. The polygon search, as opposed to a point based 25m radius search used in other residential environmental search reports, is ideal for high value properties or those with extensive land. It ensures the search extends to the property or land boundary and beyond, extending up to 500 metres beyond the property boundary.

The report uses the UK's most comprehensive landfill data and features a liability assessment which focuses on contaminated land risks. It also includes a review of environmental data over the entire search area, with the risk assessment explained in plain English by an experienced specialist environmental consultant. Any potential issues relating to all major types of flood are also raised, including surface water and coastal flooding.

Furthermore, Envirosearch Prime also takes into consideration other environmental issues such as storage of chemicals, pollution incidents and a review of the likelihood of asbestos being present in the fabric of the building. It also includes data on the presence of telecoms base stations, overhead transmissions and natural hazards such as radon.
