Administrative boundary maps in Promap are definitive graphic maps outlining local government structure areas, European and Westminster boundaries in Great Britain.

The maps are ideal for identifying which local authorities need to be contacted when planning large development such as road constructions or building projects. These areas include Parish, County and Local Authority areas.

Parish Boundaries

This is a boundary data set containing polygon features which define Civil Parishes (England) and Communities (Wales). These are divisions of Districts (themselves divisions of Counties), or divisions of Unitary Authorities or Metropolitan Districts where appropriate.

These boundaries were sourced from the OS Boundary Line Parish data set. The source mapping scale for all features within this data set is 1:10,000.

Local Authority Boundaries

This is a boundary data set containing polygon features which define local authority areas. Local authorities are classified as District councils, London Borough councils, Metropolitan District Councils or Unitary authorities and were sourced from the OS Boundary Line district borough unitary data set.
