In the months leading up to the event, Landmark has undertaken a range of fundraising activities including holding a 'Slave Day', where members of senior management where paid by colleagues to complete tasks for them including washing cars, photocopying and making cups of tea. Landmark also donated £10,000 to the charity.

Commenting on Landmark Information Group's involvement, Stephen Stout, Group Managing Director said: "Landmark would like to say a huge thank you to both teams for all their efforts to help raise money for the NDCS; both before the event through numerous fund raising activities as well for putting themselves through such a physically demanding challenge."

"Landmark is proud to be supporting such a worth cause and we look forward to continuing our support through activities which allow our staff to actively get involved and make a difference."

Helen Williams, NDCS Head of Events, explains the reasons behind the charity: "Every day in the UK three babies are born deaf and most are born to hearing parents with no experience of deafness. The NDCS is the only UK charity solely dedicated to the support of deaf children and young people, their families, and professionals working with them and is funded almost entirely through public donations. Our work would not be possible without the support of companies like Landmark Information Group."

NDCS Challenges offer the experience of a lifetime and there are always new adventures to sign up for. If you'd like to find out more please call NDCS Challenges on: 0870 7747774 or visit: www.ndcschallenges.org.uk
