Faster performance and an updated look and feel
We’re pleased to share with you some improvements that are coming to Promap over the coming months.
These updates won’t impact your current workflows within Promap, but they will improve its performance and refresh its look and feel while maintaining familiarity.
We understand Promap occupies a unique place in the market. The breadth of tools we supply supports any investigation undertaken by land and property data professionals at every phase of development.
And we want to make it easier for you to explore Promap and access this key mapping and data. To achieve this, we are undertaking what will be an extensive and continuous programme of improvement.
We’re kicking off this process by refreshing the look and feel of Promap and increasing its responsiveness without making any changes to how you currently use it.
The initial changes will improve the stability and visual accessibility of Promap
To start, you may notice some aesthetic changes to your:
- Login
- Saved maps menus
- Core mapping screen
- Drawing tools
- Viewable layers
- Task tabs
These do not just improve usability. They also reflect the continued commitment to improving our service, a superior overall user experience and, crucially, improved speed and stability.
Providing property professionals with easier access to data
Our aim is to deliver the high-quality land and mapping data you need to help your clients make informed decisions. We want all our customers to feel confident exploring Promap and uncovering all the solutions and opportunities it offers. To do this we want to simplify the platform and take away any ambiguity.
The current updates will focus on the following and will be rolled out over the next 6 months:
Incremental simplifications
These will include combining some menus, removing legacy features and generally making Promap a cleaner, smoother place to work.
Changes to icons
We want to make it easy for you to know exactly what each button does. When you click something, we want you to feel confident you know what will happen next.
Standardisation across Landmark
Promap is part of Landmark Information Group, the UK’s largest property and land data business.
Because Landmark supports the entire value chain of the property industry from the developers through to the conveyancing solicitors, estate agents and mortgage lenders, you might already be familiar with some other of our reports and services.
If you are, you will find you can move more rapidly around all our platforms as they all start to mirror the same look and feel.
We hope this will help Landmark customers find the products and services they need more easily. It’s one way we are fulfilling our mission to make every land and property transactions feel effortless.
These changes are part of a greater plan
Our ultimate goal is to provide you with a powerful mapping tool that is fully tailored to your needs. Because each of our customers is unique, we are working towards a much more configurable platform. You will be able to choose what you see, what you don’t and how you set up the overall structure of Promap.
We are working on enhancing the quality of your experience and adding value, not only across Promap but across all the services our parent company, Landmark Information Group, offers.
